 Dr. Ralph W. Neighbour, Jr. has been a pioneering pastor, writer, researcher and teacher for over 50 years. He has personally tested his methods in many churches, including those in Houston and Singapore. He has written over 30 books that are used worldwide. He has held numerous teaching positions in seminaries and has consulted with churches on every continent. Currently, Dr. Neighbour continues to consult with churches and to develop useful materials to equip every member for ministry.
Among his books are “The shining Light”, “Living your Christian
values”, “A how to guide for mentoring another Christian”, “Survival
Kit”, “The seven last words of the Church”, “Where do we go from
here?”, “Christ basic bodies”.
Dr. Neighbour has been involved in leading pastors and churches to
transition traditional churches to become authentic Christ – directed
communities. He led the “Year of Equipping” for over 1.000 South
African churches after developing framework in Singapore. Pastors in
many nations, including Brazil, have now used this equipping track. He
is currently Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate Baptist Theological
Seminary directing a Doctor of Ministry program, still traveling the
world as a consultant. His newest book, “Christ basic bodies”, speaks
to our crucial need to realize the Spirit – baptized body of Christ is
the most sacred group on the earth today. Ralph Neighbour is the “guru”
of cell church ministry.
