In a rarely seen record capacity crowd, Dante Gebel was both the evening's host and speaker at the Expolit closing general Session. A great expectation was among the people as they filled every seat in the auditorium and overflowed to the aisles. Expolit came to a close in grand fashion with music, prizes, surprises and the world debut of "Passion of the Multitudes".

Marie Tamayo gave the opening welcome on behalf of Expolit at the onset of a week filled with events and expositions, which are vital to the Latin American literature industry. First up was Cristian Gastou who is a sensational songwriter/producer that received the Paoli Award for songwriter "revelation" in the 2007 edition. Gastou sang the song "Volveras" which is part of his latest work, to initiate the great celebration of "Noche de Vida".

Sharing the stage were Daniel Calveti, Alex Campos, Funky, Amanecer (The revelation group of Expolit 2008), the group Que? and Lucas Leys.
After this, Dante would enjoy an entertaining dialogue with Ricardo Montaner via satellite who promoted his Christian label "Cima del Cielo". They spoke of this new label for a few minutes and even joked of the possibility of Dante recording a record under this new label. At the beginning of their satellite connection, Dante introduced the first group of the new label called "Que?" in which are two of his sons: Ricky on the guitar and Mauricio on the drums. Yet before they began to perform, Montaner himself showed up in person. In front of a surprised conductor and public, he asked, "Are you not going to introduce me?" The crowd promptly responded in ovation. Gebel insisted that he sing "Tan Enamorados" (The very theme that made Ricardo popular over a decade ago). They eventually improvised by singing as a duo some of the verses of the well-known song. "See how they know it?" Ricardo said while laughing and humming to the crowd. In the midst of good humor, the night was ending, but not before Dante spoke concerning the healing of a wounded self-esteem. Furthermore, he encouraged parents to maintain a healthy dialogue with their children.

To conclude the celebration, the much anticipated new release movie "Passion of the Multitudes" produced by "Vida Zondervan" was shown. "The ending really surprised me." said some the viewers. They also said that they did not expect such a moving conclusion to the movie. This movie will be available free through various media distributors in different countries. The "Noche de Vida" surely marked the excellence of an evening to remember in Expolit 2008.
